Computer Point has recently introduced a revolutionary approach to deal with the important
issue of technical training. There are too many people in the market who have a lot of
general knowledge and not enough depth in specialized areas. We offer training that
is geared toward certification and total preparation of individuals for enterprise level work.
We introduce new concepts and build on existing knowledge and training. Our
lab-classroom environment has state of the art technology. Our hands-on lesson projects
will provide people with world class hands-on skill training which is in high demand. Our
instructors are highly skilled and experienced technicians and engineers in the field who
provide rigorous training for success.
We will be offering training in the following three areas: Networking Fundamentals,
ORACLE DBA in UNIX environments, and Secure Networking in Enterprise
Environments.
Networking Fundamentals
Networking Fundamentals will be offered to people with minimal experience in the area of
networking. The topics covered in this lab will be IP Routing and Switching, Server
Installation and Setup, Domain Administration, and User and File Security. The purpose
of this lab is to provide people with the skills necessary to setup, support, and maintain a
small to mid-level network environment. The certifications that will be covered in this lab
will be CCNA, and MCP. These certifications will be covered in order to both prepare
students for the certification exams as well as to instruct them in the subject matter of
Cisco Routers and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Administration.
 |

|
The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and
apprentice knowledge of networking. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure,
and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer),
including but not limited to using RIP and IGRP protocols, configuration of Point-to-point,
frame-Relay, Ethernet LAN, VLAN and Access Control List, dial on Demand routing and
ISDN. VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
